PhD Agricultural Engineer (UCO; Australian Nat. Univ.), she has worked on efficient water use in crops in Syria, Australia, California, Mauritania and Spain. She has been an FAO Officer and currently works at the Institute for Sustainable Agriculture (CSIC), where she researches the long-term impact of conservation agriculture in extensive systems, coordinates the CSIC platform PTI HorizonteVerde, and supports agricultural research in developing countries, mainly in the Sahel.
