Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering. He has served as a Full Professor at the Higher Technical School of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering (ETSIAM) at the University of Córdoba, where he also held the positions of Deputy Director for External Affairs and Director. He was Secretary-General of Agriculture and Livestock for the Regional Government of Andalusia from 1994 to 2000. He is the author of numerous publications on topics related to agriculture, innovation, entrepreneurship, the environment, and territorial development.
