Leire Barañano Orbe has 20 years of experience spanning the food and agri-food sectors. She began at EROSKI, where she served as a Head of Corporate Planning and Control. At AZTI, she drove innovation as Director of Value. Since 2017, she’s been the CEO of NEIKER where she leads research that supports the agri-food and forestry industries and heads Euskadi’s Forest bioeconomy strategy. Leire holds a PhD in Business Management and several other qualifications.
