Rafael is a Chemical Engineer specialized in Environmental Engineering, with a Master’s Degree in International Cooperation for Development. Senior R+D Consultant at BIOAZUL, he has more than 16 years of experience in innovation project management. He has worked on the validation of water reuse technologies in projects such as TREAT&USE, RichWater and SUWANU EUROPE. Currently, he coordinates the BONEX project and leads the Water Europe Water Efficiency Expert Group.
