I am a Full Professor of Botany at the UCA. I lead the “Ecosystem Ecology Laboratory”, where I research the structure and functioning of terrestrial ecosystems within a framework of plant-soil-microbiota interactions. Additionally, I develop applied nature-based strategies to reverse the impacts generated by human activities, particularly in managed ecosystems such as grasslands and vineyards. I have published more than 100 scientific articles.
