Professor Martín earned his Ph.D. in Telecommunication Engineering in 2000, receiving the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. Since 2017, he has been the head of the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at the University of Seville. His research focuses on data processing and artificial intelligence, encompassing both theoretical aspects and industrial applications, which have led to frequent collaborations with the private sector.
